Signs & Symptoms

The earlier a head & neck cancer is caught, the more likely it is that treatment will be successful.

Knowing the early warning signs and symptoms is really important.

Look out for…

A lump in the mouth, nose, neck or throat.

Ulcers that do not heal within 3 weeks.

Red or white patches inside the mouth.

A persistent sore throat.

Difficulty or pain with swallowing or moving the jaw.

Unexplained weight loss.

Frequent coughing.

Change in voice or hoarseness.

Bleeding from the mouth or throat

Dentures that suddenly stop fitting properly

Teeth that become loose

Headache

Earache / Trouble Hearing

Swollen Salivary Glands
